We’re pleased to announce that we have formed a partnership with Sewa UK to continue to deliver our work in the future through their Medics for Sewa programme.
The Chitrakoot Project Charity has been running for over 20 years, improving the lives of hundreds of people in Chitrakoot and the surrounding villages, through healthcare and education. In recent times, we’ve found it more difficult to find the right level of resources to support our programmes, which is why we’ve teamed up with Sewa UK. We believe their ethos matches that of the Chitrakoot Project and their backing will give us the resources and support we need to continue to our work.
Please consider making a regular donation to Sewa UK to help us change people’s lives – we need your help!
About Sewa UK
Sewa UK is a humanitarian non-profit service organisation. In the ancient Indian language of Sanskrit, Sewa means Service – a unique concept of Service – Selfless Efforts for Welfare of All.
Sewa is a universal concept, which involves performing an act of kindness without expectation of reward. It is performed selflessly and without ulterior motive. As a concept, Sewa in embedded in Indian traditions, and is actively promoted by different cultures and faiths – as the core belief is the same – to sacrifice your time and resources for the benefit of others without expectation of anything in return.
