Future plans require some expansion of resources in terms of more volunteer visits and more equipment, and of course to make that possible, more fund raising. We need a new , larger, off road vehicle to transport more staff and equipment. We need more pre-packed sterile instruments to reduce the need for on site re-sterilizing and some back up systems in case of equipment failure in the villages. Specialists in Plastic Surgery, Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Surgery are adding to the team which already has a Professor of Paediatric Dentistry to lead development in child care. They will need support including possible anaesthetic volunteers.

Future plans to help the needy...

It has become very clear that with a large population and high incidence of disease, health could be greatly improved if prevention went hand in hand with treatment. We therefore intend a large investment into Health Education and will seek expert advice in how to achieve this in a different culture. We often have a hundred or more people in attendance at any of our village clinics and the opportunity for audio-visual health education to a captive audience is huge. Volunteers and visitors are a constant source of new ideas and talent and these are greatly welcomed
